A&P Licensed Maintenance Controller

Responsibilities

• Communicate with operations and advise on aircraft maintenance status changes.
• Coordinate maintenance operations issues on Cessna Citation series aircraft.
• Ensure accurate and timely information is conveyed using Avianis/CAMP and Corridor systems.
• Evaluate reported aircraft discrepancies and develop recovery plans.
• Ensure all aircraft down for maintenance are repaired safely, per OEM and regulatory instruction, and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Must have 3-5 years of aviation maintenance experience, including military or commercial, corporate experience preferred.
• Must hold an FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship.
• Candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally stressful environment.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, or on-call if needed.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot wiring diagrams.
• Self-starter with strong initiative and effective communication skills.
• Attention to detail and focus on excellence.
• Adaptability and accountability.

Competencies

• More than proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.

Work Environment

A typical office and computer lab environment with frequent interruptions. Exposure to loud noises including airplane machinery and jet engines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to see, hear, read, and speak English clearly.
• Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Regularly lift/move up to 20 pounds.

Dress Code and Uniform

Well-groomed appearance adhering to department dress code.

Travel Required

Some, less than 10%.
