A.M. Janitor (12HR)

About the role

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of plant common areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and designated production-adjacent areas. This role supports food manufacturing operations by ensuring the facility is clean, orderly, and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety requirements. The Janitor may also perform limited sanitation support tasks traditionally associated with machine cleaning, excluding full equipment disassembly or CIP processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of plant common areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and designated production-adjacent areas.
• Support food manufacturing operations by ensuring the facility is clean, orderly, and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety requirements.
• Perform limited sanitation support tasks traditionally associated with machine cleaning, excluding full equipment disassembly or CIP processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.

Schedule

Normal work schedule for this position is on rotating weeks, as follows:

Hours are 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM. Working on some Holidays will be required.
