About the role

Locum tenens assignment for physicians, physician assistants, or nurse practitioners in large‑scale healthcare networks, hospitals, and clinics nationwide. Weatherby Healthcare, a charter member of NALTO since 1995, employs nearly 600 staff dedicated to filling such assignments.

Responsibilities

• Scheduled clinical hours plus call coverage
• Beeper call coverage with a 1:4 ratio and 30‑minute response time
• Seeing 10‑15 patients per shift
• Seeing 15‑20 patients per call period
• Handling 5‑10 admissions per call period
• Performing approximately 15 phone consults per 24 hours
• Interpreting echo studies (Echo reads required)
