A Level Technician

About the role

Del Amo Motorsports Group is seeking an Experienced Motorsports Dealership Master/A Level Technician for our Chula Vista, CA location. We offer industry-leading support, training, and compensation in a premier multi-line powersports dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Competently repair any product sold in the dealership.
• Accurately perform full and complete diagnosis on products in for service.
• Communicate necessary repairs to the Service Manager or Writer both verbally and in writing.
• Train, mentor, and transfer skills to less experienced technicians.
• Meet deadlines and complete work productively and profitably.
• Maintain ownership of a complete set of tools.
• Abide by, coach, and lead by example all dealership policies and procedures.
• Follow company dress codes and maintain a well-groomed appearance.
• Perform any other duties deemed necessary for the success and profitability of the department and dealership.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all employees.
• Complete and pass all OEM online training, and attend in-person training when scheduling allows.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of previous motorcycle technician service experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Motorcycle OEM Related Training Credentials required.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Computer literate with technical and/or mechanical expertise.
• Familiarity with product lines sold in dealerships.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, reach, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers.
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Required vision includes close, distance, and peripheral vision with the ability to adjust focus.
• Must operate equipment and move vehicles safely at all times.

Pay

$38.00 - $42.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.

Relocation support may be available for qualified applicants from outside the area.
