A Facility in Missouri Is Looking for a Locum Tenens General Surgeon

Responsibilities

• 6 - 8 patients per day plus 3 - 4 consults
• 3 - 4 surgeries per day
• Inpatient hospital setting
• Emergency general surgery, acute care surgery, and trauma
• Leave coverage (prior provider fell through)
• High-volume, fast-paced facility
• Assignment details and time entry via online portal

Schedule

• 10 days per month (long weekends to 10‑day stints)
• 24‑hour on‑call required

Pay

From $150.00 to $200.00 hourly (all‑inclusive, combines base pay with potential overtime, call, and holiday pay; rates are estimates based on critical need, experience, qualifications, and other factors).
