About the role

Savannah Seeds is seeking a Production Executive to manage and expand hybrid and varietal seed production operations, with a focus on paddy hybrid seed production.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and expanding production locations for hybrid as well as varietal seed production
• Developing and implementing production strategies to meet the business plan
• Planning to produce hybrid and varietal seeds as per sales demand, while controlling both fixed and variable costs
• Coordination with growers and organizers to increase adoption of Savannah production practices, identify challenges and develop solutions
• Ensuring transplanting as per protocol and in desired planting window
• Ensuring quality assurance including timely rouging
• Thrashing, seed cleaning, bagging and seed dispatch as per protocol
• Extending timely support to other departments activities
• Ensuring recording and submission of data

Qualifications

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. Agriculture with 2-3 years experience in Paddy hybrid seed production
• 2-3 Years in Paddy Hybrid Seed Production
