About the role
The Small Arms/Artillery Repairer maintains electronic systems of various weapons used by the Army National Guard.
Responsibilities
- Maintain electronic systems of small arms and artillery
- Operate electronic, electrical, and mechanical test equipment
- Learn and apply electronic and mechanical principles and concepts
Requirements
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
- Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com for details)
Qualifications
- Junior in high school or have a high school diploma/GED
- Interest in working with weapons and electronics
Skills
- Understanding of schematics, drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Accuracy and attention to detail

Schedule
Training consists of 10 weeks of Basic Training and 7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.
