Position: Senior Accountant Location: Tulsa, OK Pay: $80,000 to $90,000/year Experience 5 years of progressive accounting experience and previous experience working in a manufacturing environment. Previous accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Type: Full-time; Direct Hire Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm ProRecruiters is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing and dynamic team! The Senior Accountant will serve as the primary owner of the company’s accounting function and will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting support, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position will work closely with company leadership and internal departments to provide accurate financial information and support sound business decisions. Job Description Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions and records.Maintain the general ledger and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash activity, and other core accounting functions.Prepare monthly financial statements, budget-to-actual reports, and other financial reporting and analysis for management.Monitor financial performance, cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and variances to support business decision-making.Develop and maintain accounting procedures, internal controls, and processes that ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax professionals, banks, and other financial partners; support audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements.Partner with operations, purchasing, human resources, and other departments to provide financial guidance and support business objectives.Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems, processes, reporting, and controls while supporting financial and operational projects.Support the growth of the accounting function through staff training, process development, and assuming additional financial leadership responsibilities as needed. Position Requirements Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.Professional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
