About the role

The Infant Care Aide is responsible for providing a safe and developmentally appropriate infant care program for a small group of infants, ensuring the health, safety, and progress of each child.

Reports to

APPP Coordinator/Case Manager; Lead Infant Care Supervisor

Term

9 month position

Schedule

Part time: 29 hours per week

Training and Experience

• Must be 18 years of age
• Possess one of the following minimum qualifications:
  • High school diploma and 30 or more credit hours in education
  • High school diploma and 15 credit hours in education and one year of experience working with infants
  • High school diploma or GED, and two years of experience working with infants
• Verification of negative TB skin test (must present documentation upon hire)
• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
