About the role

Teachers at Achievers Early College Prep Charter School are responsible for implementing and developing the school's curriculum and ensuring student success. This includes:

• Expertise in content knowledge in Mathematics
• Able to teach Intervention Math
• Extensive knowledge of Mathematics interventions targeting math skills
• Implementing curricula and activities aligned with academic standards
• Designing and administering assessments to measure student progress
• Using assessment data to refine curriculum and guide instructional practices
• Collaborating with grade-level teams and participating in school-wide functions
• Providing consistent rewards and consequences for student behavior
• Accountable for students' mastery of academic standards
• Communicating effectively with students, families, and colleagues
• Able to teach both remotely and in-person (currently remote)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred
• Minimum of two years teaching experience in an upper elementary or middle school with an underserved population
• Quantifiable track record of outstanding academic results
• Valid State Certification requested
