8th-Grade Girls Volleyball Coach

Position Summary

The 8th-Grade Girls Volleyball Coach is responsible for coaching, mentoring, and supervising student-athletes in the 8th-grade girls volleyball program. This is a temporary position for the duration of the volleyball season.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Teach volleyball fundamentals, strategies, and game rules to student-athletes
• Supervise student-athletes before, during, and after practices and games
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members
• Attend all scheduled practices, games, and team meetings
• Maintain equipment and report any issues to administration

Qualifications

• Previous experience coaching or playing volleyball preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to motivate and support young athletes
• Must be available for practices and games as scheduled
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
