About the role
Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking a board certified or board eligible Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon to join their practice in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The Mercy Orthopedic and Sports Medicine team consists of 5 physicians, 6 advanced practitioners, and an engaged support staff dedicated to quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of orthopedic sports injuries
- Assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions
- Collaboration with other healthcare professionals
- Participation in ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
- Minimum 3 years of post-graduate training
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Current medical license in Missouri
- Experience in sports medicine preferred
Skills
- Skilled in surgical techniques
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Strong clinical judgment
