About the role

Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking a board certified or board eligible Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon to join their practice in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The Mercy Orthopedic and Sports Medicine team includes 5 physicians, 6 advanced practitioners, and an engaged support staff dedicated to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of orthopedic sports medicine conditions
• Collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Participation in ongoing professional development and education

Requirements

• Board certification or board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
• Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate training in orthopedic surgery
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current medical license in Missouri
• Passing scores on all required exams

Skills

• Strong surgical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage a busy caseload
