About the role

Lids Sports Group is the largest licensed sports retailer in North America, operating over 1,300 stores nationwide. As a Store Manager, you will lead a team to foster the passion for sporting and fashion goods, meeting customer needs while ensuring store operations are efficient and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Manage hiring strategy, assist in onboarding, engage team members, and establish supportive relationships.

  • Lead training, address employee concerns, and drive team engagement.

  • Ensure compliance with scheduling, payroll, and operational policies, and manage store technology and equipment.

  • Drive product strategy, manage inventory, and execute visual merchandising plans.

  • Produce sales results while minimizing losses, and perform independently with minimal supervision.

  • Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.

  • Proven supervisory skills, with capacity to deliver training material and assess retention.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight for training and/or business meetings.

  • Ability to work varying days and hours, based on business needs, and maintain an excellent attendance record.

  • Proven managerial skills.
