812059 Systems Engineer $245,000.00

Position requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with a Polygraph. This position is currently in Dulles, but will move to HQ/McLean in the fall 2026.

Responsibilities

• Systems engineering and administration for Nguyen systems, including MSSQL databases, Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS), VM clusters, Hyper-V, Data Protection Manager, and PowerShell scripting.
• Assessment and authorization processes to accredit security-controlled systems.
• Linux systems engineering and administration.
• Management of security-controlled systems, including CipherTrust enterprise hardware security modules, software, and data architecture.
• Role as a data transfer officer for security-controlled systems.
• Oracle Linux Systems Administration.
• Management of Cisco switches and security appliances, including ASAs, StealthWatch, and Tetration.
• Administration of NetApp storage area networks (SANs).
• Certificate management for users, servers, and service accounts.
• Cross-skilling and backfilling for teammates.
• Handling sensitive data with discretion and sound judgment to achieve mission outcomes.
• Support of Customers’ security-controlled systems, software, and data architecture.
• Participation in Customers’ Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes.
• IT Program Management and support.

Requirements

• Experience levels:
  • Developmental (0-2 years’ experience)
  • Full Performance (3-5 years’ experience)
  • Senior (6-10 years’ experience)
  • Expert (11-15 years’ experience)
  • SME (16+ years’ experience)
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator certification.
• Optional experience with:
  • Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Server 2016, 2019, 2022).
  • Windows desktop operating systems (e.g., Windows 10, 11).
  • Microsoft Group Policy Management for managing settings across multiple machines.
  • Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) for managing updates.
  • Virtualization technologies (e.g., VM hypervisors).

Pay

Up to $245,000.00 per year.

Schedule

Core hours: 9 AM to 4 PM.
