812049 Network Engineer $200,000.00

Position Level: Level 3 – Senior
Location: Chantilly, VA
Core Hours: 9am to 4pm
This position requires an active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with a Polygraph.

About the Role

We are actively seeking Network Engineers with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience. A Bachelor's degree is required; Master’s degrees are preferred.

Responsibilities

• TCP/IP transport network design and engineering
• Network routing protocols and advanced virtual networking technologies
• Performing upgrades and routine network operations and maintenance (O&M)
• Identifying and implementing INFOSEC and COMSEC security requirements for the network
• Complex configuration management techniques and requirements for managing network systems
• Network operating and maintenance concepts and methods used to troubleshoot network problems for LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and VoIP
• Cisco IOS, including switching, routing, segment routing, and other technologies

Requirements

Mandatory

• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)

Experience Levels

• Developmental: 0-2 years’ experience
• Full Performance: 3-5 years’ experience
• Senior: 6-10 years’ experience
• Expert: 11-15 years’ experience
• SME: 16+ years’ experience

Optional

• Master's degree
• Variety of network technologies and solution architectures
• Broad understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the networking field
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art systems engineering principles and network design concepts
• Virtualization experience (VDI & VMWare)
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Security best practices and implementing firewalls and perimeter security measures including VPN technologies
• Continuous integration, test automation, and/or SecDevOps on iterative development projects
• Agile Development methodologies
• Cisco Certifications: CCNA or CCNP

Up to $200,000.00 per year
