812036 Network Engineer $200,000.00

Core hours: 9 AM – 4 PM
Position level: Senior (Level 3)
Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with Polygraph required.

About the role

We are seeking a Network Engineer with a minimum of six years of relevant experience. A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• TCP/IP transport network design and engineering
• Network routing protocols and advanced virtual networking technologies
• Performing upgrades and routine network operations and maintenance (O&M)
• Identifying and implementing INFOSEC and COMSEC security requirements for the network
• Complex configuration management techniques and requirements for managing network systems
• Network operating and maintenance concepts and methods used to troubleshoot network problems for LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and VoIP
• Cisco IOS, including switching, routing, segment routing, and other technologies

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in a related field
• Broad understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts in networking
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art systems engineering principles and network design concepts
• Virtualization experience (VDI & VMware)
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Security best practices and implementing firewalls, perimeter security measures, and VPN technologies
• Continuous integration, test automation, and/or SecDevOps on iterative development projects
• Agile Development methodologies
• Cisco Certifications: CCNA or CCNP

Up to $200,000 per year
