About the role
The Software Developer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers, and data engineers to build a new application utilizing LLMs to convert data and access policies from various sources and formats into a uniform format for compliance assessment.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Analyze and decompose complex software systems
- Create designs for scalability, testability, and performance
- Participate in Scrum agile framework to deliver incremental enhancements on a 2-week cycle
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve performance and ensure clear communication
- Rotate on-call for after-hours support approximately one week every three months
Requirements
- Mandatory Requirements:
- Developmental (0-2 years’ experience)
- Full Performance (3-5 years’ experience)
- Senior (6-10 years’ experience)
- Expert (11-15 years’ experience)
- SME (16+ years’ experience)
- BS degree and 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Optional Requirements:
- Exposure to foundation AI models such as GPT
- Familiarity with AI topics and concepts such as prompt engineering
- Experience with AI libraries such as LangChain or others
- Experience with DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and other relational or NoSQL database platforms
- Understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM) Concepts
- Experience with design patterns and best practices
- Experience building microservices
- Experience with integration testing frameworks
- Documented open source contributions, technical certifications, continued education
Qualifications
- Leverage Java and/or Python applications that leverage Large Language Model (LLM) API calls
- Utilize Scrum agile techniques to manage workload and incrementally build out applications to meet customer requirements
- Leverage Amazon Web Services
- Create RESTful API
- Write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
- Define system architectures and design of new features
- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or Rundeck
