About the role
This role is part of the Dev Ops Systems Team and will work closely with IT, Development as well as other technology stakeholders to maintain, develop and support IC enterprise products in an Agile SAFe environment. The Foundations DevOps Engineer will work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate systems. They will help automate and streamline operations and processes. They will build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev, test, and production environments.
Responsibilities
- Supports software deployments, cloud infrastructure baselines, and operational availability of production systems.
- Manages, builds, configures, administers, operates and maintains all components that comprise the DevOps environment.
- Defines enterprise Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes and best practices.
- Codifies DevOps best practices across the enterprise.
- Develops and maintains scripts to automate tool deployment to an AWS cloud environment and other tasks.
- Scripts and maintains build environments.
- Works with project teams to integrate their products into the DevOps environment.

Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience setting up one or more of the following tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Katalon Studio.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting issues with two or more of the following tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Katalon Studio.
- Demonstrated experience working within a software development team and supporting developers and developer activities.
- Candidate must have HS diploma and at least 12 years of relevant experience; or BS degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience.
