About the Role

This position supports the United States intelligence community and defense organizations by engineering, supporting, and troubleshooting Windows desktop and server environments, Azure services, and related security tools. The role requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, support, and troubleshoot Windows 10 (and up) desktop operating systems, establishing new build and deployment methods for workstations.
• Engineer, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Engineer, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Defender, including reporting and patching.
• Support and troubleshoot Windows Server 2019 (and up) technologies.
• Conduct and review Rapid7 vulnerability scans.
• Create processes to automate tasks and configuration items using PowerShell.
• Support and troubleshoot desktop applications, including Microsoft 365 products and classification‑management tools.
• Document all new changes introduced to the system and keep existing documentation current.
• Assist Tier 1 and Tier 2 personnel with user issues, application assistance, network troubleshooting, and other user‑support items as needed.
• Monitor and administer the Azure Virtual Desktop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 11 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with a polygraph.

Required Skills

• Engineering experience supporting Windows platforms: Windows 10 (and up) desktop OS and Windows Server 2019 (and up) server OS.
• Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
• DNS and DHCP configuration.
• Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
• Strong verbal communication and documentation abilities.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Preferred / Optional Skills

• Agile methodology experience.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Visual Studio Code.
• Git version control.
• KQL/SQL query proficiency.
• DevOps certifications: Microsoft AZ‑900 and MS‑900.

Pay

Up to $225,000 per year.

Core hours: 9 am – 4 pm.
