$80k Ford Service Advisor Opportunity

Location: Classic Ford Lincoln – Columbia, 177 Greystone Boulevard, Columbia, SC. Full‑time position.

About the role

Classic Ford / Lincoln of Columbia, NC is seeking Automotive Service Advisors to support a growing service department. Service Advisors assist customers in caring for their vehicles by conveying the value of maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and by establishing and maintaining positive client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform service‑drive walk‑around inspections of customer vehicles and apply proper resources to accurately identify, verify, and communicate clients’ service needs.
• Record inspections along with current vehicle and client information on the repair order.
• Interact with customers to determine immediate service needs and serve as a liaison between technicians and customers.
• Provide an excellent customer‑service experience.
• Review service history and multipoint inspection results and recommend service to clients.
• Write and verify accurate repair orders, including supporting documentation for manufacturer warranty claims.
• Support service‑department goals by improving sales of labor, parts, and accessories.
• Administer new and used vehicle warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
• Verify vehicle services are performed correctly upon completion by inspecting the vehicle before returning it to the customer.
• Perform an active vehicle delivery with the customer when work is completed.
• Build and maintain knowledge of products and services through on‑the‑job activities and manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team player.

• Trainable and outgoing personality with strong customer‑handling skills.
• Professional appearance and strong organizational abilities.
• Technical certification is a plus; manufacturer training certifications preferred.
