8-1200 - Neuromedicine ICU - Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Direct care for patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures as well as medical neurology patients.
• Daily management including procedures and transfer/discharge.
• Participation in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QA/PI).
• Conduct educational conferences and rounds.
• Support student precepting and unit-based nurses and leadership.

Requirements

• Motivated, flexible, and independent with excellent clinical skills in critical care.
• Acute Care NP certified or NCCPA certified.
• Neurosurgical or neurology experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing.
• Certified Nurse Practitioner by NCCPA.
• Completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program.
• Active New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing.
• Certified Physician Assistant by NCCPA.

• The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job.
• Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Pay

• $98,508.00 - $132,995.00
