7–12 SCIENCE TEACHER

North Valley Academy Charter School is seeking a dynamic, student-centered 7–12 Science Teacher to join our secondary teaching team.

About the role

The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction in life, earth, and physical sciences, develop engaging lesson plans, and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in secondary science (life, earth, and physical sciences)
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with science standards
• Integrate hands-on labs and real-world applications into curriculum
• Maintain effective classroom management and communication
• Support student growth and align with school mission

Requirements

• Idaho Teaching Certificate with appropriate Science endorsement(s)
• Strong knowledge of secondary science standards and content
• Proven classroom management and communication skills

Pay

Salary ranges from $50,000 and upward, depending on experience and career ladder placement.

Start date: August 17, 2026.
