Responsibilities
- Operate filling machines and related equipment such as pouch sealers and formers
- Monitor product quality and maintain line efficiency
- Record line downtime categorized by cause and machine
- Troubleshoot minor malfunctions, clear jams (following LOTO), and remove defective packages
- Adjust line speed to optimize performance
- Use Quality Suite software for weight control; follow run rules
- Complete OEE data entry and end-of-line grading
- Change foil rolls, track lots, and assist across the room as needed
- Assist with equipment and pipe cleaning during changeovers
- Perform full sanitation and maintain clean work area
- Complete routine cleaning based on required schedules
- Conduct regular quality checks (seal integrity, package quality, weight control)
- Pull and label lab samples accurately
- Monitor product temperatures and maintain records
- Follow GMPs and QRMP Quality Systems
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
- Use caution around moving equipment
- Adhere to LO/TO protocols; perform BOS scans as scheduled
- Comply with Kraft Heinz performance guidelines
Requirements
- Basic math and statistical interpretation
- Computer literacy
- Attention to detail and judgment in evaluating product quality
- Ability to work independently with verbal/written instructions
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Environment: Very noisy; minimal hazards
- Lifting: Up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. infrequently
- Full competence expected after 2 weeks of training
