Qualifications

• Certification: Maine State Certification 020 (General K-8) or 300 (7-12 Mathematics)
• Safety: Current CHRC (Criminal History Record Check) required.

Requirements

• Foster a culture of mathematical thinking and student-centered learning.
• Strong classroom management and a passion for working with middle-level students.
• Understand the unique social-emotional needs of 7th and 8th graders and know how to build a positive classroom culture.
• Work within a Professional Learning Community (PLC) to share ideas, look at student work & data, and grow alongside your colleagues.
• Leverage community resources to enhance the learning experience.
• Maintain open and professional communication with families and staff.
