The English Language Arts (ELA) and Social Studies Teacher creates an engaging, nurturing, and safe learning environment that allows learners to develop their physical, social, and emotional wellbeing. The role provides instruction, future-ready skills, knowledge, and dispositions to cultivate compassionate, lifelong-learners and contributing citizens in a rapidly changing world.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• North Dakota Teaching License with appropriate accreditation to teach applicable grade level and content area.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.
• Prior experience working in a middle school setting is preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, talk, and hear.
• Specific vision abilities include close and peripheral vision.
• May be required to lift up to approximately 30 pounds.
• Must work with the public and various staff while managing several competing demands.
• May come in contact with bloodborne pathogens or other bodily fluids on rare occasions.
• Works in an environment with a quiet to loud noise level.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday.

Pay

Salary follows the 2025-2027 Teacher Salary Schedule.
