- This is a posting for a 6th - 8th Grade Math Position with Title I for the 2026-27 school year.
- The position will start as a 13.3 hour/week position, 2 days a week (Thursday and Friday), from 9:55a-4:25p until November.
- The pay rate is $30-$40/hour based on experience.
- In November this role will shift to full-time, 35 hours/week, 5 days/week, and the schedule will be:
- Monday: 8:30a-4:30p
- Tuesday: 9:45a-4:30p
- Wednesday: 9:45a-4:30p
- Thursday: 9:45a-4:30p
- Friday: 9:45a-4:30p
- Note: On Fridays, the math interventionist will oversee a shared WIN time for both Title math and Title reading students. Reading assignments for students will be provided.
- This full time position is eligible for health benefits
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier II small group instruction to students who are identified as at-risk for math
- Use evidence-based strategies and interventions to support student learning
- Use progress monitoring to assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure students receive the support they need
- Attend Title staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Faculty Qualifications
- Minimum BS or BA in Education, Mathematics, or Related Field
- Valid teaching license in good standing preferred
- Training in intervention methods strongly preferred; please provide certificates
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
