About the role
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for overseeing store operations to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, staff scheduling, and store cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Manage store staff, providing guidance and feedback to enhance performance and employee satisfaction.
- Collaborate with regional managers to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of retail management experience.
- Proven ability to manage a team and lead by example.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
