About the role

As a Sales Associate at Cosmoprof, you’ll create a memorable shopping experience for customers, guiding them through their beauty journey with expertise in hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails. We provide comprehensive training—you bring your passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend complementary products and inform customers of promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales.
• Enroll customers in our Loyalty program and ensure they’re informed about its benefits.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and report inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Cosmoprof’s Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Availability to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Strong communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to apply product knowledge training to assist customers.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Follows direction and performs additional duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, or reaching.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Exposure to moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasional irritant chemicals or fumes.
