About the role

As a Sales Associate at Cosmoprof, you’ll create a memorable shopping experience for customers. Whether assisting with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, you’ll serve as their trusted beauty advisor. Cosmoprof provides extensive product knowledge training—you bring your passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend complementary products and inform customers of promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales.
• Educate customers about and enroll them in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and report inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Cosmoprof’s Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Clear communication with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Ability to apply product knowledge training to assist customers.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Follow direction and perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, or reaching.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Exposure to moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasional irritant chemicals or fumes.
