About the Role
The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor creates a memorable shopping experience for customers by assisting with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails. You will bring your passion and personality, while Sally Beauty provides the knowledge and training to support you as an advisor on our customers’ beauty journeys.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
- Recommend additional and complementary products.
- Inform customers of current promotions and events.
- Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
- Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program.
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
- Demonstrate Sally Beauty’s Culture Values.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
- May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.
Working Conditions
The position requires physical exertion, including:
- Long periods of standing and walking.
- Recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, or reaching.
- Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
- Working around moving parts, carts, or machines.
- Occasional exposure to irritant chemicals.
