They are looking for someone who brings confidence in infant care, supports developmental milestones, and enjoys working collaboratively with involved parents. The family values patience, kindness, and consistency. Their ideal nanny is calm, organized, punctual, and comfortable taking initiative without needing frequent direction. Someone who can offer thoughtful guidance while respecting the parents’ preferences would be a wonderful fit. In addition to childcare, the family is seeking help with light household tasks and errands, particularly while the parents are spending time with their son. The nanny should be comfortable shifting between childcare and agreed-upon family assistant responsibilities. A housekeeper comes weekly. Travel: The family has a home in the Hamptons and would appreciate someone who can accompany them there over the summer. Private accommodations will be provided. Flexibility for other travel is welcome but is not required. Key Responsibilities Provide attentive infant care, including bottle preparation, feedings, diaper changes, and maintaining baby supplies.Support consistent feeding and nap routinesEncourage developmental milestones through tummy time, reading, music, play, and age-appropriate activities.Take the baby on walks Help arrange playdates/outings.Prepare age-appropriate meals as solids are introduced.Manage the baby’s laundry and keep bottles, toys, and childcare areas clean and organized.Track feeding and sleep in the Huckleberry app and communicate daily updates to the parents.Family Assistant Responsibilities: assist with agreed-upon household tasks, such as light meal prep, opening packages, emptying the dishwasher, taking out trash, grocery shopping, and picking up dry cleaning.Respect family time and recognize when to step back or focus on other responsibilities.
