Responsibilities

  • Advocating and supporting adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities by empowering them to be as active in their lives as they can.
  • Supporting tasks such as household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, and attending medical appointments.
  • Aiding in activities of daily living, including assistance with medication administration, following Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans, and medical guidelines.
  • Participating in paid New Employee Orientation, CPR/First Aid, PABC, Defensive Driving, and Medication Administration Program (MAP) training.
  • Maintaining certifications, adhering to agency policies, and complying with DDS regulations/policies.
  • Safely evacuating individuals from the home in case of emergencies.

Requirements

  • Age 21 or older with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • The ability to speak, read, and write in fluent English.
  • A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, overnights, or double-shifts.

Schedule

Mon-Fri 7a-10a, Sat 8a-2:30p
