About the programme
RNAmed – Future Leaders in RNA-based Medicine is an international graduate programme based in Bavaria, Germany. Launched in 2022 and funded by the Elite Network of Bavaria (ENB), the programme takes a holistic approach to endowing doctoral students with the skills necessary for a career in the rapidly growing field of RNA-based medicine. The programme brings together a diverse consortium of world-leading scientists in RNA modification and delivery, CRISPR-Cas systems, microRNAs, non-coding RNA, RNA biology of infections, and RNA chemistry. An international spirit, active networking, extracurricular activities and pharmaceutical translation are main features of RNAmed.

- Dr. Andrea Rentmeister (LMU Munich) – note: Prof. Rentmeister is particularly looking for applicants with a strong background in biochemistry (RNA biochemistry).
Requirements
- Hold a Master's degree (with top grades) or equivalent in the life sciences, chemistry, medicine, pharmaceutical sciences or a related discipline
- Outstanding academic record
- Open to all nationalities
