About the role

This position designs and delivers learning experiences for students in a grade level and/or content area, utilizing evidence-based instructional practices and technology.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and facilitates the learning process
• Participates in a community of learning to develop and refine knowledge and skills for student success
• Evaluates student progress and communicates progress
• Collaborates, reflects, and grows to improve learning opportunities for students

Requirements

• Licensed professional
• Knowledge of Colorado Academic Standards and the organized plan of instruction
• Expertise in literacy and mathematics at elementary level, or knowledge of literacy and mathematics and content area expertise at secondary level
• Experience working with diverse populations of students
• Ability to establish a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
• Proficiency in using technology to engage students in authentic learning experiences
• Ability to assess student learning and provide feedback
• Ability to model and promote effective communication
• Professionalism and ethical conduct
• Compliance with applicable laws and district policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Initial or Professional Colorado Teaching License
• Experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Special Education and related legal requirements

$52,020.00-$83,163.00 (Based on education and experience at 100% FTE)
