6.0 hr. Special Education Paraprofessional

Windom Elementary School – 6 hours/day, approximately 7:00–10:00 AM & 1:15–4:15 PM, starting September 2025.

About the role

Provide assistance to both students and teachers in implementing lesson plans. Work on an individual basis with students when necessary. Provide support within the educational setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Two-year or four-year degree preferred
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field

Preferred qualifications

• Para Highly Qualified status according to current statute and union contract
• Crisis prevention intervention (CPI) training

Pay

Union contract hourly range based on education, experience, and qualifications: $17.01 – $21.01.
