Position: Elementary Education Teacher 5th Grade
Employment: Long Term Substitute
School Year: 2026–2027
Starting Salary: Prorated salary based on a BA Step of our DEEA Contract
Required Licensure
Applicants must hold or be eligible for one of the following Minnesota teaching licenses:
- K–6 Teaching License
- 5-8 Specialist License
- Primary License
Responsibilities
Serve as the classroom teacher for a 5th grade classroom
Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction
Collaborate with staff and support teams
Work under the direction of the elementary principal
Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
Support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students
About the Role
Dover-Eyota Public Schools is a progressive, financially stable school district located just east of Rochester in southeast Minnesota. The district serves approximately 1,150 students in PreK–12 across two connected school buildings on one campus.
