Responsibilities
- Teach 5th grade curriculum aligned with state standards
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary units
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and provide feedback
Requirements
- BA/BS from an accredited college or university
- Valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in area of assignment: K-6 Elementary Education
- Experience: District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year relevant experience

Pay
- Minimum starting pay: $50,500/year
- Maximum salary: $101,999/year
- Initial pay placement depends on level of formal education and years of relevant experience
