5th Grade Social Studies Teacher (26-27)
About the role
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Studies is required. 2+ years of experience teaching middle school students in a school setting is preferred, with SPED certification being an asset. Knowledge of EOC testing, ACT/SAT prep, and Louisiana State Standards is preferred. Certification or interest in achieving certification in multiple areas is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Teach middle school Social Studies curriculum
- Support one or more extra-curricular clubs or sports outside of the regular school day
- Prepare students for EOC tests, ACT/SAT, and other standardized assessments
- Contribute to the development and implementation of extracurricular activities
Requirements

Qualifications
