About the role
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree teacher certified in Middle School Mathematics is sought. 1+ years of experience with middle school students in a school setting is preferred. Knowledge of LEAP testing, ACT/SAT prep, and Louisiana State Standards is preferred. Certification or interest in achieving certification in multiple areas is a plus. An interest and ability to support one or more extracurricular clubs or sports outside of the regular school day is required.
Responsibilities
- Teach Middle School Mathematics
- Support extracurricular activities
- Prepare students for LEAP, ACT/SAT, and other standardized tests
- Adhere to Louisiana State Standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics
- Middle School Mathematics certification
- Experience teaching middle school students
- Knowledge of LEAP, ACT/SAT, and Louisiana State Standards
Qualifications
