About the role

Teaching Language Arts to 7th grade students in the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging language arts lessons aligned with state standards.
• Instruct students on reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and literature analysis.
• Evaluate student progress through assessments and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and support student learning.
• Adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.

Requirements

• Florida certification in English (grades 6-12).
• Commonly accepted bachelor's (or higher degree) major in English, Literature (English), Creative Writing, or Language Arts.
• Pass the FTCE Subject Area Exam in English 6-12.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
• Experience with technology integration in the classroom.

Pay
