About the role
Teaching Language Arts to 7th grade students in the 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging language arts lessons aligned with state standards.
- Instruct students on reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and literature analysis.
- Evaluate student progress through assessments and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and support student learning.
- Adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Requirements
- Florida certification in English (grades 6-12).
- Commonly accepted bachelor's (or higher degree) major in English, Literature (English), Creative Writing, or Language Arts.
- Pass the FTCE Subject Area Exam in English 6-12.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
- Experience with technology integration in the classroom.

Pay
