508 Compliance Specialist / Front-End Developer with TS/SCI Clearance & Full Scope Polygraph-Hybrid

About the role

We have an immediate need for a Front-End Developer/508 Compliance Specialist to support application sustainment and modernization efforts. Support will focus on the development, enhancement, and sustainment of mission-critical web applications used to manage, publish, and collaborate on intelligence products.

Responsibilities

• Improving and maintaining Section 508 accessibility across existing web interfaces
• Identifying and remediating accessibility issues
• Developing modern front-end interfaces with Section 508 accessibility incorporated from the ground up

Required Technical Skills

• Java 8+
• Understanding, maintaining & troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications
• GWT
• Angular
• Primefaces
• Quarkus
• Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Proficiency with screen readers
• 508/WAI-ARIA knowledge
• Oracle
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Agency reporting and dissemination tools
• Agency classification policies
• Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence

An active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph is required. This job is 100% onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD.
