508 Compliance Documentation Specialist I

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists in compiling regulatory filing documents and maintaining computerized files to support all documentation systems.
  • Affixes basic accessibility remediation tasks in Microsoft Office and PDF documents, including:
    • Applying heading styles
    • Formatting tables and lists
    • Adding alternative text to images
    • Verifying hyperlinks and reading order
    • Correcting basic accessibility issues

Basic Qualifications

  • Possession of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university according to the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), or four (4) years relevant experience in lieu of degree. Foreign degrees must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro or willingness to learn PDF remediation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good written communication and proofreading abilities.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and documentation standards.
  • Basic understanding of document management and version control concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn regulatory and accessibility compliance requirements.
