508 Compliance and User Acceptance Tester, Senior

About the role

Perform testing for a public-facing website and training requirements tracking tool. Provide user and technical assistance. Support developing trainings, tutorials, user guides, and related materials. Ensure deliverables, public-facing website or content, and documents are 508 compliant.

Responsibilities

• Test web-based applications
• Create documented test plans and procedures
• Create clear and actionable user stories with thorough acceptance criteria
• Gather and analyze data to determine solutions for issues
• Work with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and QA, and present recommendations to product owners based on findings
• Conduct current-state and target-state analysis and design for software applications
• Ensure 508 compliance

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience testing web-based applications
• Experience creating documented test plans and procedures
• Experience distilling complex business processes into clear and actionable user stories with thorough acceptance criteria
• Experience in requirements gathering and analyzing data to determine solutions for issues
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and QA, and presenting recommendations to product owners based on findings
• Experience conducting current-state and target-state analysis and design for software applications
• Knowledge of 508 Compliance requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
