Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled 503A Staff Pharmacist to perform safe, accurate, and compliant medication compounding. This on-site role in Albuquerque, NM, focuses on advancing personalized therapies while maintaining rigorous adherence to state, federal, and FDA guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify prescriptions for clinical accuracy and appropriateness.
- Compound and dispense medications according to regulatory guidelines and patient-specific orders.
- Consult with healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication usage and side effects.
- Maintain comprehensive patient records and documentation.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with pharmacy laws, USP standards, and industry regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited U.S. institution.
- Current New Mexico pharmacist license with a willingness to obtain additional state licensures.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compounding pharmacy (503A or 503B setting preferred).
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients, practitioners, and internal teams.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, USP standards, and cGMP principles.
