About the role

We're seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our exceptional nursing team. As an RN, you'll play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality clinical care, guiding and supporting nursing staff, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our residents. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for PRN and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications (orally, subcutaneously, or via IV) and record them accurately; report adverse reactions per policy.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpreting and recording electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action for patients displaying adverse symptomatology.
• Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients, including changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Utilize time management skills effectively.
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
• Perform other position-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state.
• At least one year of experience as an RN in a long-term care setting is preferred.
