What You'll Do
- Install and troubleshoot industrial machine control systems including 3-wire and PLC controls.
- Install, repair, and diagnose both AC & DC motors, single and three-phase power systems up to 480 volts.
- Install, repair, and diagnose mechanical power transmission drives and related systems (gearboxes, chains, sprockets, belts, and pulleys) as well as pneumatic equipment (compressors, blowers, solenoids, valves, cylinders, flow controls, etc.).
- Support the PM system and apply industrial lubricants.
- Properly handle and apply basic hand and power tools and test equipment.
- Support the plant’s production equipment and set-up.
- Execute breader mills, scalper, and sifter set-up, change-over, and disassembly requirements.
- Responsible for the hook-up and unloading of bulk rail materials, and the proper hook-up of bulk-material trucks.
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the robotic, conveyor, and bagging systems.
- Responsible for the handling of waste oil in compliance with EPA rules.
- Responsible for the daily inspection of forklift equipment.
- Responsible for knowing and following company rules and procedures.
What You'll Need
- Must be able to operate a forklift, and lift 75 pounds.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior work experience in a processing facility or in a fast-paced environment preferred.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work overtime.
