About the role
The Freeman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is the only one of its kind in the four-state area, providing specialized care using state-of-the-art technology and years of experience treating premature and critically ill infants.
Responsibilities
- Provides basic nursing care needs for assigned patients under the direction/supervision of a nurse.
Requirements
- If a CNA license was held prior to starting the nursing program, the employee may be considered for a student assistant program.
- Currently enrolled in RN nursing program and beginning final semester of nursing school.
- Currently enrolled in RN or LPN nursing program and have successfully completed first semester of nursing courses.
- Must successfully pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) within 30 days of hire.
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
- National Travel Nurses (NTC) competency day annually by transcript due date.
