We are seeking a 4th grade teacher who is prepared to launch each student’s school experience on a positive note by building an engaging and creative classroom, preparing students in the foundations of ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies to apply these concepts to real-world situations. Primary Responsibilities Create an engaging environment that is safe, age-appropriate, conducive to learning, encourages student interest, and maintains standards of behavior Use student data to drive instruction using the MTSS framework to deliver district-approved curriculum using hands-on learning and one-to-one technology Guide learning by establishing objectives for lessons, units, and projects, maintain records of progress, and adjust instruction accordingly to maximize student learningBroaden student interest and understanding of social and physical environments through field trips, large group discussions, play acting, and other activitiesCollaborate with colleagues in focused learning teams, work together with administration, and communicate with students and parents to further educational goalsContribute in other ways as assigned by the Principal or Superintendent, or their designee A Qualified Candidate Will Possess A Bachelor’s degree in EducationMichigan teaching certification with endorsements in relevant subject areasLETRS training (preferred), familiarity with the Science of Reading Your Benefits Will Include Competitive pay commensurate with experience, according to the DKEA contractExcellent health, dental, vision, and life insurance optionsYour choice between two retirement options If interested in position, please apply at https://jobs.redroverk12.com/org/1071 The final candidate for this position will be required (at the applicant’s cost) to furnish Delton Kellogg with a current Michigan State Police and FBI criminal records check prior to our recommendation for hire.
