Lead teacher for a 4K wrap program, overseeing daily operations and assisting the site supervisor during before- or after-school hours.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons for children
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and school personnel
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Completed college-level (or equivalent) courses in Education (early childhood, elementary, or related field)
- Confidence in managing a large group of children
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Experience with DCF state licensing
- Values relationships and has strong written and verbal communication skills
Pay
Up to $20 per hour, based on education and experience.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Two shift options: 6:30 a.m.–1 p.m. or 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Paid planning time built into the 40-hour weekly schedule
- School-year position with the option to join the summer team

Location
Position is based in the Kettle Moraine School District. Programs take place in school buildings. Administrative work (e.g., lesson planning) is paid and occurs outside of program hours; staff may work from home or from Wisconsin Youth Company’s co-working office in Hartland.
